Northern Territory (Rwizi: Dunhu rekuchamhembe) is the northernmost district in Rwizikuru, which as of the 2011 census is the ninth-most populous district in the country, with 2,373,235 inhabitants living in the district. Its district seat is Zambuko, a port city on the Rwizikuru River. It is bordered to the southwest by the district of Thongaland, to the southeast by Dzakakwirira, to the north by the country of Yemet, and to the east by North Balisaland.
