The Beloslavian Civil War (also known as The War of Letnian Succession) is an ongoing military conflict between Beloslavia's government led by Prime Minister Aleksandr Pavlovsky against domestic opposition factions.
Unrest began in September of 2021 as Prime Minister Aleksandr Pavlovsky named himself as the Prince of Beloslavia following the death of Prince Stephanov during a Slavic Cultural Fair in Pancevo. The unrest has rapidly spiraled into armed confrontation after Beloslavian Government forces attacked Sebrenskiyan peacekeepers, allegedly after Sebrenskiyan peacekeepers attempted to stop Beloslavian government forces from using lethal force to suppress demonstrations in the Capital. Citing the attacks and the resulting airstrikes from Sebrenskiya, sections of the Army broke off and declare a "United Front" in resistance to the national government.
Background
Death of Prince Stephanov
On 17 August 2021, Prince Stephanov collapsed while at the Slavic Cultural Fair in Pancevo, reportedly having a seizure. He was evacuated to Pancevo National Hospital, where doctors determined the Prince had severe internal bleeding, causing the reported seizure. Doctors attempted for 6 hours to save the Prince's life, but by the time the seizure had occurred, blood loss was significant, and doctors stated that the Prince entered the hospital a dead man and that it took 6 hours to confirm that.
Prince Stephanov was given a military send off by Sebrenskiya, and then returned to his home in Turov, where an autopsy was performed. The details of that autopsy have not been released, but Letnian Royal Doctors confirmed that there was no foul play involved in the Prince's death.
