Fe Bysbereer (pronounced /ðə ˈbʏzbeːɾeːɾ/, Vyvlander for The Messenger, commonly known by the nickname Bysi) is Vyvland's second-biggest-selling broadsheet newspaper after de Kronikel. The newspaper is published daily in Vlud and Mafiy, the latter of which is the location of the paper's head office. It officially maintains a neutral political position, although is often seen as an organ of the centre-left Liberal Party; although it contains columnists and journalists from across the political spectrum, a significant contingent are associated with the Liberals.
The paper was originally started as the Mafiy Bysbereer in 1894 by Arkiasin-origin industrialist and philanthropist Horace Brant, and was distributed for free in the city. However, upon his death in 1911, a small fee started to be charged for the paper, and with the funds this move gained, it quickly expanded to circulate throughout the whole of Vyvland, while in 1913 it merged with the newspaper Vlud Ongeuengs, with a change of name to Fe Bysbereer.
