The Zacapine Navy, formally known as the Armada of the United Zacapine Republics, is the maritime arm of the Zacapine Armed Forces responsible for all coastal, oceanic and amphibious activities undertaken by the Zacapine military. It is a blue-water navy intended to operate all across the southern hemisphere in the Ooreqapi, Amictlan, Vespanian and Makrian oceans, protecting the littoral flanks of the peninsular Zacapine homeland in southern Oxidentale and maintaining expeditionary capability with regards to the continent of Malaio that has been of great strategic concearn to the Zacapines for centuries.

The naval forces of the Zacapine military benefit from the nation's doctrine of naval primacy set during the Xolotecate era and influenced by the naval dominance of the intercontinental empire of Aztapamatlan. The Armada benefits from the highest budget of the four branches of the Zacapine Armed Forces as well as the highest standing personnel count, although it is eclipsed in total manpower by the reserve components of the Zacapine Army.

Marine Corps

The Zacapine Marines are the body of naval infantry attached to the command of the Armada, and represent the forward component of the Zacapine Armed Forces expeditionary capability. The Marine command, although subordinated to the administration of the Armada superiors, is considered higher than the Army command. When deployed together, Army units fall under the Marine command structure. Unlike the Army, the combat forces of the Zacapine Marines maintain peacetime readiness and do not have reduced unit manpower under peacetime conditions, such that the Marines can be quickly deployed in response to a rapidly developing situation without any delay caused by a slow mobilization process. Structurally, the Marines are made up of five brigades of 5,000 men for a total of 25,000 Marines. Each brigade is equipped as a self contained jack of all trades expeditionary unit, with mechanized Infantry, Marine Cavalry armored units, Marine artillery and a Marine aerial contingent separate from the main naval aviation structure. Doctrinally, the Marine brigades are intended to be autonomous and provide for their needs of fire support, air defense, reconnaissance, engineering and other combat roles on their own, although in practical application support from other Marine brigades, Army units and the Armada's naval aviation and direct fire support would be applied where available.
