Muanbia is a continent on Elezia bordered by the Vareic Sea to the north, the Merillian Ocean to the west, the Sarosan Ocean to the east and the Arctic Sea to the south. The closest continents are Atusia to the north across the Vareic Sea and Barnesia to the east across the Sarosan Ocean.

Etymology

The name "Muanbia" originates from the first contact between Parthenia and Muanbia, in which Vermandan colonisers mistook a tribe speaking Lingala for saying "Muanbi". Following this, word spread to the rest of Parthenia that a new continent had been contacted, named Muanbia.

Geography

Savanna plains in Bahari, central Muanbia.

Muanbia is located entirely within the eastern hemisphere, and entirely within the southern hemisphere. It's closest continental neighbours are Atusia across the Vareic Sea and Moriora to the east across the Sarosan Ocean. It shares maritime borders with three oceans, the Arctic Ocean to the south, the Sarosan Ocean to the east and the Merillian Ocean to the west.
