Field Marshal Flynt de Smit, 1st Marquess of Kesteven, KCA KCAE KCKO CMM KC OM (born 17 May 1991) was a senior Atmoran Army officer. He served as commanding officer of a company in the 3rd Battalion, Princess Winter's Light Infantry in which role he was deployed to New Vlieland in 2017 in the first Rainforest Insurrection and briefly in the Kingdom of Serbia in 2018. After service in Serbia, he took command of Princess Elizabeth's Rifle and led his regiment against the Islamic State of Rajshahi in Bangladesh on 2019. In 2023 he assumed the role as the Commander Unified Atmoran Forces Andaman and Nicobar in which he oversaw the military operations of the Colony. In 2025 he assumed command of the Royal Acadian Corps and helped the FDC in major wars. In September 2054, he became head of the Atmoran Army as Chief of the Imperial General Staff succeeding Field Marshal Lady Dunford.

In 2018 after returning from combat in the Rainforest Rebellion of 2017 Schmitz married Lucy Schmitz, née Montgomery and they have 3 children one boy named Jake and; two girls named Kaelynn and Maddison. His daughter Maddison currently serves in the Atmoran Army as a Captain. His interests include board games, theatre and history. He was awarded an honorary degree by the University of Saint John's.
