Glen Mairs is Timiskranean politician serving as Member of the National Legislature (MNL) for Manatoulin - Gulf and Islands and Prime Minister under the Progress-Commonwealth coalition. Mairs is a member of the Progress Party first elected in 2021 as an opposition MNL. Glen subsequently became leader of the party during the 2023 leadership contest and led his party to massively improve it's seat count under his leadership in the 2025 election and form government, becoming Prime Minister.
Early Life
Mairs was born in Sudbury, but moved to South Gulf, on Manatoulin Island when he was just 4 years old. Mairs went to University in Port Manatoulin at Victoria University, where he received a degree in Business. During his degree, Mairs became politically active, campaigning for multiple causes including Manatoulin re-integration with the rest of the former colony of Angrosia, which at the time, was in the process of reforming and re-uniting as Timiskrane. Mairs subsequently became an early member of the newly formed progress party and was nominated to run representing his home district in the 2021 election.
