The Progress Party of Timiskane, officially known simply as The Progress Party is a political party in Timiskrane. The party is currently the second largest in the National Legislature, and part of the governing coalition. The party also holds 228 regional government seats, and is in control of the Iron Valley regional government.
The party originated from the Progressives of Manatoulin from when Manatoulin was a seperate self governing dependency of Locotima. Upon Mantoulin signing the Act of Federation and joining Timiskrane the party's leadership organized to register themselves as a federal party in Timiskrane under the new name. Glen Mairs has been its leader since.
The Progress Party is founded and operated upon the ideologies of Progressivism and Environmentalism, as well as the values of Social Justice, Permissive Society, Equality, and Internationalism.
