Elena Revna Eiriksdóttir af Skjæran is an Acrean politican serving as the Chancellor of Acrea since 2021, and as a member of the Riksdag since . One of the few members of the Rasmussen Cabinet to not be a member of the Riksdag, Skjæran began her distinguished career as an junior adviser in the Chancellery in 2004. She served as a special adviser and Second Deputy to Rasmussen during Rasmussen's tenure as Minister of Foreign Affairs, before becoming First Deputy Skjæran was nominated by Rasmussen in April 2019, and approved by the Riksdag the same month.
Personal Life
Skjæran was born in the northern town of Vejstrup in the Duchy of Åland to Eirik Arnesson Skjæran, a career military officer, and Eva Leifsdóttir Skjæran, a nurse. She is a member of the Skjæran family, a prominent political and military family. She attended school in Vejstrup, graduating in 2000. Following graduation, she attended the University of Stavanger, pursuing a degree in International Relations. She obtained her BSc in 2004, and an MA in 2006.
She is an avid fan of football, and is a fan of Stavanger FK.
