The Luepolan Air Force (Luepolan: Sila Obráňa Vietărska Ľupolska, SOV or SOVĽ) is the aerial warfare branch of the Luepolan Defence Forces. The air force was founded on 5 April 1954, concurrently with the other branches of the defence force. It is tasked primarily with maintaining the integrity of Luepolan airspace. Its inventory includes aircraft of Luepolan, Vierz, and Lyskysten origin.
The Luepolan Air Force participated in the Luepolan War, engaging in combat against the Vierz Reichswehr from 1979 through 1981. The Air Force's operational capability degraded until it was combat ineffective by 1983, and was reconstructed after 1990 upon the rehabilitation of the Defence Forces.
