Confederate Airlines is a major Blackhelm Confederate based airline headquartered in Redemption. It is the largest airline and the Blackhelm Confederacy, and a founding member of Sky Alliance.
History
Confederate Airlines was established in 1998, as a union of smaller airline companies around the newly established Blackhelm Confederacy, most of which were formed in the breakup of Hesperidesian Airways during the fall of the Empire of Exponent in 1996.
Destinations and hubs
Confederate Airlines flies to destinations throughout Astyria and beyond, and has three main hubs:
- Paradise City, Blackhelm Confederacy
- Alexandria
- Port of New Alton, ViZion
Fleet
The Confederate Airlines fleet flies an array of different aircraft models, including several Supersonic aircraft.
Classes
Economy
Economy Class is available on all aircraft with seats ranging from 17 to 18.6 inches (43 to 47 cm) wide and 30 to 33 inches (76 to 84 cm) of pitch. The economy Class seats on some aircraft have an articulating seat bottom where the seat bottom moves forward in addition to the seat back tilting backwards when reclining.
Economy Class passengers receive complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks on all flights 250 miles (400 km) or longer. Alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase. Complimentary meals and alcoholic drinks are provided on long-haul international flights as well as selected transcontinental domestic flights.
Economy Plus
Economy Plus seats are installed on all aircraft and feature 34–36 inches (860–910 mm) of pitch; Additional amenities include: priority boarding, dedicated overhead space, complimentary beer, wine, and spirits on flights 250 miles (400 km) or more, and complimentary premium snacks on flights 900 miles (1,400 km) or more. Complimentary premium entertainment is available, with free headsets available on most flights. On select transcontinental flights, Economy Plus passengers may also receive additional menu items.
