Operation Tundra Shield was a joint operation between the Blackhelm Confederate Army and air force and the Calednian military to protect the Caledonian border and later to expel Belkan forces from Plätteisen Adler.
Caledonian Air Lift
Following the formation of the North Lorecian Coalition, forces from all participating members began flowing into Caledonia. Tens of thousands of troops from across Astyria, as well as enormous amounts of equipment and supplies began flowing into the country, creating what would become known as the Caledonian Air Lift.
Belkan Raid at Matvayez
As Coalition manpower began to grow in Caledonia, the Belkan military launched a major raid against the primary Coalition command center, located at Matvayez Air Base in Caledonia. After a sustained air and artillery barrage on the site, Belkan special forces units arrived via helicopter and began destroying building and engaging in firefights throughout the base. After over an hour of fighting, Coalition troops were able to regain control of the air base.
