The Vieremä Group (Atlish: Anning of Vieremä, V4) is a political and cultural alliance composed of four Aurorian nations with deep historic and present geopolitical, economic and cultural links. The Group comprises of Esthursia, Hexastalia, Sorovia and Tardine.
Talks between the three nations had been started between their respective governments during the autumn of 2022, in which extensive trade deals and customs agreements were signed. The group was formally founded at the end of April 2023, and is named after the location of the founding summit, a town in Sorovia named Vieremä. The Group was aimed towards facilitating Sorovia and Tardine's applications to the Union of Aurorian States, however the referendum the following month led to Sorovia opting not to continue to apply, leading to an increasing shift of the Group towards mutual co-operation over facilitation and integration with the UAS. In autumn 2023, the three then-V3 nations and Hexastalia agreed to form the Compass initiative, doubling spending on scientific research as well as forming joint organisations such as the Aurorian Space Agency, while Hexastalia is awaiting confirmation on membership as October 2023. Hexastalia would then join at the end of 2023, causing the Group to become the V4.
The Vieremä Group has a total land area of 1,477,012 km2 (570,278 sq mi)+, and a combined nominal GDP of 13,009,258,789,560+ IBU.
