His Majesty's Imperial Intelligence Service, more commonly called HMIIS or the Gray Coats (colloquially), was a former Belhavian combined foreign and domestic intelligence agency and internal security service that existed from 1809 until 1946. Upon its abolishment in 1946 under the Foreign Intelligence Reorganization Act during the Provisional Government in reaction to its abuse of powers under Galarian's regime, its duties were purposefully diffused into different successor organs, including the IBI (foreign intelligence) and DISE (domestic intelligence and security).
