Turnu Air Base is an active Valkean military facility in Itämaa province, near the town of Turnu. The base is also home to units of the Blackhelm Confederate Air Force operating with the Blackhelm Confederate Forces Northern Lorecia (BCFNL), which leases a 3 square kilometer area for their operations.
History
The Empire of Exponent was given rights to lease a portion of the base through the Agreement for Security and Defense Cooperation between the Exponential Empire and Valkea, and the first Exponential combat aircraft arrived in 1979.
The base was utilized heavily by Confederate forces during the Belkan Wars, during which it served as a vital staging ground for Confederate aircraft in Lorecia.
