Thomas Fengler (9 April 1941 - 17 July 2024) was a Palingian army officer and politician who served as the 2nd President of Palingia from 2000 to 2004. In 2000, Fengler led a coup to overthrow Meinhardt. After seizing power, he ordered the execution of Meinhardt and the arrest of high-ranking members of the military dictatorship and introduced free democratic elections in Palingia.
