Su Mali, also known by her Christian name/superhero name Mary, is a character in Realms of the Multiverse.
Design
Mary is a young Chinese woman with a round face, wide mouth, medium sized nose, and small eyes. Her hair is brown and shoulder-length and sometimes partially covers her forehead. Her height is above average and she has a pear shaped figure.
She wears a light brown cardigan over her shirt instead of the standard Mutiara Academy blazer and leg warmers of the same colour except in the summer, where she foregoes wearing both. On days off, she can be wearing the same cardigan over a white blouse, a black knee-length skirt, and loafers of a darker brown.
Personality
Mary is a gentle, nurturing woman who enjoys gardening. She starts her first year in Mutiara academy as a pacifist who avoids fighting, allowing her teammates to take to the front lines as she supports and heals them from a distance. She aspires to become a superhero to end what she sees as senseless violence and save innocent lives. Due to her strong aversion to violence, she tends to be easily overwhelmed and panicked when her allies are weakened or fallen.
Her cowardice has haunted her ever since the first attack on Mutiara Academy and she reflected on her abilities. To overcome this, she decided to intern in a physical combat-oriented superhero agency to learn how to fight, and later grows her Soul Arsenal to include more offensive skills as she develops her style of spiritual combat.
Mary is a kind and quiet person outside the battlefield and often volunteers as a member of her local church. She likes cooking and is good with children and animals, despite not having currently pets herself.
