His literature peaked in the the post-war novel A Question for Wellington (惠靈顿的一个維鈞 (Huìlíngdùn de yīgè wéijūn)). Moralism as a literary style is based on the investigation of scientific nature and the observations that Gao took from realpolitik. It is also considered to be a question of social usefulness of the individual.
