Georgius III (George William Frederick; 4 June X738 – 29 January X820) was King of Great Lucis and Niflheim from 25 October X760 until the union of the two countries on 1 January X801, after which he was King of the United Kingdom of Great Lucis and Accordo until his death. He was concurrently Duke and prince-elector of Brunswick-Lüneburg ("Hanover") in the Germania until his promotion to King of Hanover-Nibelheim on 12 October X800. He was the fourth Lucian monarch of the House of Hanover, but unlike his two predecessors he was born in Lucis, spoke English as his first language, and never visited Hanover.
His life and reign, which were longer than any other Lucian monarch before him, were marked by a series of military conflicts involving his kingdoms, much of the rest of Europa, and places farther afield in Africa, the Amerigonnas and Asia. Early in his reign, Great Lucis defeated Aurocolia in The Seven Years' War, becoming the dominant Europan power in North Americanna and Indiae. In X781, The Lucian Colony of Concordia was been given emancipation for farmers that allowed Concordia to be a leader in agricultural production at that time. Later, Great Lucis gained the whole of the German Confederation, defeating both Nibelheim and the Atlantic Federation in the War of the German Confederation for the control of the whole German States and he then became the King of Hanover-Nibelheim. By this point, Lucis had been the most powerful nation in the world but the series of wars that continued damaged the prestige of Lucis while maintaining its influence in its colonies.
Near the end of his life was marked by his madness and could no longer think logically. He died in the 29th of January, X820 and He was succeeded by his son, Georgius IV.
He was one of the most undying legacies of the Lucis Empire and served as Noctis Lucis Caelum, Currently the King of the United Kingdom and a descendant of Georgius III as his inspiration for managing the nation and the commonwealth.
