Lisdare (from Irish Lios Darach, meaning 'Oak Fort') is a city in central Maltropia. It is the capital of the principality of the Angle and is the seventeenth-most populous city in Maltropia.
Lisdare is the only coastal settlement in the Angle, its metropolitan area occupying the province's short strip of coastline between Montrose and Tyrmidra. The city is located just above the estuary of the Creagach, or Stonibrook, which flows into Lisdare Fjord and the sandflats of na hÍsle.
For most of its history, Lisdare was the second city of the Uí Midire, the preeminent dynasty in the region, after their capital at Eochaill. It was a popular choice for coronations. Lisdare was also the seat of a diocese which, in the ninth century, briefly contended for primacy over the Uí Midire.
