The Diversity, Love and Rainbow Party was founded in 2018. It is an alliance of six minor Centre to Far left parties th at merged to create a more powerful left wing voting bloc in West Phoenicia.

The party originally consisted of the Feminist Party, Green Party, Rainbow Party, Democratic Party and the The Euthanasia Party.

In 2019 the Republic Party of West Phoenicia joined the political alliance.
