Election Results

Dissolution

After a poor performance at the 2019 General National Election where they only won 31 seats in the House of Representatives and 3 Senate Seats, they suffered a huge drop in membership.

Internal turmoil in the party room over leadership did not help resolve the issue, they were invited by the Diversity, Love & Rainbow Party to merge with them to create an even bigger Centre-left Alliance to battle of the rise of Conservatism.

Republic Party members voted overwhelmingly to merge.

The Republic Parry officially disbanded in 2019.
