The Cult of the Blooded Emperor is a strange sect originating in the jungles of Afropa amongst the soldiers. It is currently in a state of limbo, as debates on whether it should be considered a heresy or not rage on. The main issue with declaring it a heresy, is that they have to the knowledge of all parties involved in the debate, done nothing to contradict the teachings of the Urfylkir nor have they done anything all that radical. Instead, the issue revolves mostly on whether the Urfylkir would have approved of their methods.
They believe in the usage of human sacrifice (mainly of enemy prisoners) to court the favour of the Urfylkir and that they have been forsaken for their short comings and impurities. While distasteful to some, the practice of offering sacrifices is wide spread, though the most extreme stick to using animals. The cult also has a tendency to ritualistically spread the blood and set up the bones in macabre displays, with the flesh rotting off of them.
As of now, they are tolerated, as their adherents are all members of the Afropan Expeditionary Forces.
