The Third Tropican Republic covers from July 12, 1924 with the departure of US troops after the end of the first US occupation, until April 28, 1963 with the ouster of Fabian Franco. This period is also known as the Age of Franco, because of the strong influence exerted by the Franco regime over much of these 41 years.
