Castineos (pronounced /kAstInios/), officially the Barony of Castineos, is a province of Aquitayne, located in the southeast of the country. Its administrative and social center is Hygarde, which is also its largest city. The population of the island in 2019 was 510,000 residents.
The economy of Castineos is laregly tourist-based, featuring many resorts and beaches along its coasts. Even so, it retains a strong local economy through agriculture production and civil industrial efforts.
