The 1987 South Besmenian flood disaster was a flood disaster in the southeast of Besmenia caused by a storm in the Trissian Bay. Areas in the coastal region of the Trissian Bay were affected. The southwest of the capital Lait City was particularly hard hit, especially in the district Gotha, where the 115 meter high Lait City Lion Tower collapsed on February 11th.
