The Tokūrun (<imgur>76TBVxv.png</imgur>, [toːkɯɾɯɲ] ) is the military dictator of Mararasa. Though ceremonially the subordinate of every monarch in Mararasa, and nominally appointed by the Senyukai, the tokūruns are the de facto rulers of the country. The tokūruns hold absolute power over Mararasa through military means and the position is considered to be a mixture of monarch, general and president by foreign scholars. Since the 12th century the position has been de facto hereditary and monopolised by the Ētan Clan
