The Nationalwehr is the unified armed forces of Bakyern. The Nationalwehr is tasked with the responsibility of protecting Bakyern from any external threats and protecting the country from attack. Federal States are allowed their own armed forces, called the Territorialheer. The Nationalwehr follow policies from the Federal Department of Defense (FDoD). The Nationalwehr has mainly played out a defensive role, with a defensive strategy being used since the early 2000's.
