Celeste Canillac (Celeste Marianne Canillac) is a member of the powerful House Canillac of Brytene. She is an accomplished musician, playing violin and piano, and is a noted academic, working part-time as a lecturer of languages and history at Valholl University. She won the title of Miss Atlas 2011.
Biography
Family
The House Canillac dynasty is a powerful family based in Susseax, Brytene. They own large stakes in the Hlaford Shipyards and are known for their wide shipping and trade portfolio, as well as their ownership of the SpearCorp Solutions private military company. Celeste's father, Sir Arthur Canillac is the most prominent Catholic in the country, as well as a respected economist and business magnate.
Early Life
Born early in 1990, Celeste lived a comfortable life at the Chateaux Canillac. Educated in languages, economics, and politics, she quickly displayed an aptitude for social studies, foreign languages, and music, and went on to study Modern Languages at Valholl University, where she was offered a scholarship to play violin in the school orchestra. She declined the money but accepted a position in the orchestra regardless.
Career
Celeste Canillac currently works part-time as a lecturer at King's College Lundene, but is also an accomplished musician, having played violin with the Brytisc National Orchestra and as a solo pianist. She also owns a line of jewellery and assists in the running of the House Canillac holdings.
Brytisc National Orchestra
After graduating from university, Celeste applied to the Brytisc National Orchestra to play violin in the second section. Following several rounds of auditions she was accepted to join the Orchestra and toured Brytene with them for one year before retiring to concentrate on her other work. As a full-time and part-time member of the Orchestra she has played at venues across Brytene and has also appeared at a variety of locations internationally. She is still an associate member and occasionally plays with them upon invitation.
She also worked with the Orchestra when they also performed the original score for the Acronian motion picture Dogs and Wolves starring Clara Martin, which won several international awards. As an associate member, she also helped to write the soundtrack for 3rd Company, a Stasnovan war film set during the First Rekovian War.
Solo Artist
As a solo pianist Celeste has toured several times, both domestically and abroad. Her latest international tour is planned to be begin on the 13th November.

Business
As well as working with the family holdings of House Canillac, she has launched her own line of jewellery and has managed several marketing campaigns for various subsidiary companies owned by the family. She also holds her own stock portfolio.
Lecturing
In 2014 Celeste accepted an offer from King's College Lundene to lecture part-time. She currently teaches a module on the Crusades, entitled "Knights of the Cross - Crusades and their impact on European history".
She has also lectured in a guest capacity at a variety of international universities, including:

Personal life
Celeste is not married. She speaks French, German and Spanish. She is known to be an excellent chess player, and won the 2011 Miss Atlas competition at the age of 21.
