The Tom Teufel Show is a Besmenian adult animated sitcom. The series is based of the Tom Teufel Comic Series created by Viktor Laffmeyer.

Plot

Production

In October 1995 the film producer Ivar Zimmermann became aware of Viktor Laffmeyer. Zimmermann had been interested in a new series and he liked the Tom Teufel comics. Laffmeyer also showed interest in a television series about Tom Teufel. The two were able to win Flingor Studios and BRF as production companies.

Tom and the Neo-Ochsenbeinians which is based on the comic story of the same name in Tom Teufel Comic #1, was the first episode that was broadcasted on February 15th, 1997 by BRF 2 . An early version of this episode, which is about 10 minutes long, was shown in December 1996 as a short film before the film Death to my Life as Teenager in the cinemas. This version is known these days as the pilot of the series.
