Thomas Carson Smith (born 11 November 1962) is a Scalizagastian environmental scientist and politician who has served as the leader of the Green Party of Scalizagasti since 2007. He was also the leader of the opposition from 2012-2016 following the Green Party's breakthough second-place success in the 2012 Scalizagastian federal election. The Social Democratic Party of Scalizagasti formed a coalition government with the Greens after the 2016 election, and Smith was made the Minister of the Environment. He has also served as the Member of Parliament for South Torlu since 2005.
