The Prime Minister of The Cavian State (Cavian: Fehd Nordunae e Cavia), is the head of government for The Cavian State. The office has existed since the inception of the Constitution in 1023. The 1442 rewrite of the Constitution set term limits for the Prime Minister(four years) and defined the office's duties and responsibilities. The rewrite also transferred massive amounts of power from the monarchy to the Prime Minister, which was merely a governmental figurehead before the rewrite. The Prime Minister and Cabinet(consisting of all the most senior ministers, most of whom are government department heads) are collectively accountable for their policies and actions to the Monarchy, to Parliament of The Cavian State, to their political party and ultimately to the people. The incumbent, Mochi Williams took charge of the office in 2017 general elections on 3 December 2017.
