The Mathock class of multi-purpose are guided missile destroyers of the Dnieguan Navy. Intended as a multi-purpose surface ship, the Mathock class is intended to engage and destroy surface ships, Submarines and Aircraft at short and medium ranges. First launched in 2007, the lead ship of class, RDN Mathock was commissioned in 2009 and began duty with the Dnieguan Northern Maritime command in October of the same year. As of 2014, the Dnieguan Navy operates three ships and is currently building four more, with an option for an additional four in the future.
