Military Organization
Hierarchy
The Breheimian Armed Forces operate a fairly limited military hierarchy compared to most countries' armed forces. Only three distinct officer ranks are a part of the standardized Armed Forces, as well as two forms of Non-Commissioned Officer as well as the rank of private. As a result, many Breheimian military units have several officers of equal rank in command, with officers typically deferring to the orders of an officer with seniority.

Soldier Officers
In addition to the regular system of warrants and commissions for Breheimian military units, soldiers displeased with a superior may hold a vote on whether or not to recall said officer. If 2/3 of soldiers under said officer, non-commissioned officer or warrant officer's command votes in favor of recalling him, a new officer must be assigned to said unit by their immediate superior. Until that may be done, the soldiers elect their own 'Soldier-Officer' from their own ranks which have the same authority as the rank they are temporarily filling.
