The Reiterpanzerkampfwagen IV, commonly known as the Mark IV, is a medium tank in used by the Imperial & Federal Common Army. It is intended to make up the primary strength of the Common Army's panzer divisions, and is meant to engage hostile armour and infantry in support of operations. As one of the most widely manufactured armoured vehicles in the R.u.B Union, the Reiterpanzer IV's chassis has become the basis for a wide variety of other variants in the R.u.B Common Army's motor pool. Many of these variants are specialist vehicles, meant to serve a specific role, and operate alongside formations utilising the Reiterpanzer IV to provide mobile assault, tank hunting, and air defence roles.
The Reiterpanzer IV is continually updated and modified in order to face new threats and situations. Production has shifted from the original Reiterpanzer IV Ausf. A model, to the Ausf B, while other variations are used in special circumstances--such as in desert, arctic, or tropical conditions. The Reiterpanzer IV is available for export, and has been sold to many actors in local space.
