The Sjögren M1858, officially the Repetergevär Sjögren, Modell 1858, was an Acrean lever-action rifle introduced in 1858. Although initially not officially adopted by the Acrean Army, the rifle was purchased in wide numbers by private soldiers and regimental quartermasters such that it was granted an official designation in 1861 without undergoing military trials, making it the first lever-action repeating rifle in official Acrean service.
