Atogoku is a nation on the planet of Septentrion. Atogoku, officially Yokoshima Atogoku is a country in the continent of . Atogoku borders ---. Its capital city is Yoko, located in the south east of Atogoku. It is home to just over 1,000,000 people and is the third largest city. Atogoku has one of the highest GINI's in Septentrion and it well known for its poor distribution of income. Despite this, the nation maintains a healthy HDI.

Etymology

Yokoshima Atogoku's name originates from the early Ato-Rishi Dynasty, the largest state of the four contesting states over the lands currently unified under Atogoku. By 223BC, the Ato-Rishi Dynasty had successfuly defeated all of the other 3 states, unifying them. The land currently known as Atogoku, was named Ghomada (勝利の国/Country of Victory).

After the collapse of the 523 year old Ato-Rishi Dynasty, the Atogokan Dynasty formed (Atogoku meaning Eclipse in Haji, an ancient dialect of Chinese (Haji, Malayic language is not related).
