Etymology

The name Abuddih, comes from the Anglicisation of Abuddhiya meaning "Land of [the] Abu", this refers to the Abuy Rivers, which flow from the XXX Mountains and enriches much of the nation with fertile, arable land.[...]

City-State Era (3500~ to 2650 BCE)

The first proper settlements in the Abuddihic Valleys emerged in the sometime in the late 4th century, but the Abuddihic Civilisation is believed to emerge sometime around 3500 BC. Around this time, the first Abuddihic cities such as Dhakbara emerged. The period is dubbed by most Euclean historians as the City-state era due to their abundance.

Due to the region's abundance of Tin and Copper, it became a major centre of the Bronze Age world and supplied numerous Negaran cities. The region's wealth and strategic helped it to become a major centre of trade, connecting southwestern Coians with the Bahian civilisations of the northeast and making it a crossroad between cultures. Multilingualism became commonplace in the region sometime around 3000~ BC

The Abuddihic cities were subjected to the Bronze Age collapse, with much of their civilisation entering what is described by most historians as a "Dark Age". City states were to finally re-emerge by 1,200 BCE, with the discovery of Iron, thanks in part to Ibadati traders from Negara, occurring not long after.
