Cuiniao-class cruiser

The Cuiniao-class cruiser (Cuiniao meaning Kingfisher) is a class of cruiser in service with the Songhua Federal Navy. The Cuiniao-class are smaller, lighter, and faster than their Yuying-class cousins, designed to keep pace with Songguo's missile boat squadrons. Cuiniao-class vessels, in addition to their anti-ship missile armament, carry anti-submarine and air defense weaponry, as part of their mission to support missile boat squadrons. They are among the Songhua navy's most numerous major surface combatants.
