The RN-MAN Mark IV Tridente is a Cacertian long-range, all-weather subsonic anti-ship (and later land-attack) missile currently in service with the Royal Navy. It is a development of and improvement upon the previous, shorter-range RN-MAN Chiodo and greatly increased the effective threat-range of Cacertian guided-missile warships. Although originally designed solely as an anti-ship missile, a land-attack variant was developed and put into production in 2010 with first live-firing testing conducted in 2011.
