The Liberal Party (Stedorian: Partet Veitacedik), (Alzi: Pårti Lîbèrål), officially the Authentic Radical Liberal Party (Stedorian: Partet Veitacedik Radikalimik Jenöfotik), (Alzi: Pårti Lîbèrål Rådical Authèntike), is a liberal-conservative party in Stedoria which was created shortly before the end of the Stedorian Civil War. The party was created by moderate members of the Stedorian opposition who, although originally believing in a constitutional monarchy, came to support the establishment of a liberal-democratic republic through peaceful means.
The party currently sits as the second largest party in the National Assembly of Popular Power, and as the largest opposition party in Stedoria. The party is highly critical of Gemotamism, the socialist policies of the National Party of the Stedorian Revolution, and of the democratic backsliding occurring under the NPLS' rule.
