The Emperor of China, or Huángdì (Chinese: 皇帝) is the monarch of China during its imperial period, from the Qin dynasty to the Qing dynasty, then from the revival of the imperial system at the founding of the empire of Amenria until the unification of Earth in the 22nd century. The title is a gender neutral term and is thus theoretically possible for any member of the Starchild Sorority to claim it once her father dies, instead of defaulting to "Empress".
