The Republic Marches On (French: La République s'avance) is the national anthem of Ainin. Written in honour of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Aininian Republic, it was commissioned by President Guillaume de Chasteauguay with lyrics written by poet Samuel Desmartes set to music composed by noted melodist Vincent Quinault. On 2 July 1901, with the promulgation of the Constitution of 1901, it replaced The Tragedy of the Tyrant-King as the national anthem of Ainin, whose inflamatory lyrics were widely seen at the time as an archaic and embarrassing relic of the Aininian Revolution.

La victoire nous mène des champs jusqu'aux plus grandes cités, | Victory leads us from the fields to the greatest cities, |
| She announces henceforth an end to our times of weakness. |
Under her aegis the wretched too are all redeemed, |
La République s'avance! | The Republic marches on! |
Victoire à la République! | Victory to the Republic! |
Et à notre délivrance! | And to our deliverance! |
Victoire à sa grande marine! | Victory to her grand navy! |
La République s'avance! | The Republic marches on! |
Contre les lasches ennemis nés de cet immonde espèce, | Against the cowardly enemies born of this foul species, |
From Linaque to Bounèsque with a powerful defiance, |
| The good general Henri's militias ceaselessly persevere. |
Le peuple libre avance! | The free people pushes forward! |
Victoire à la République! | Victory to the Republic! |
Et à notre délivrance! | And to our deliverance! |
Victoire à sa grande marine! | Victory to her grand navy! |
La République s'avance! | The Republic marches on! |
L'esprit de nos braves aïeux guide chacun de nos pas, | The spirit of our brave forefathers guides each of our steps, |
| That the sovereign spirit of the people never shall perish. |
Plutost, il avance! | Rather, it marches on! |
Victoire à la République! | Victory to the Republic! |
Et à notre délivrance! | And to our deliverance! |
Victoire à sa grande marine! | Victory to her grand navy! |
La République s'avance! | The Republic marches on! |
