Brennus Audaxa (born 30 July 1999) is a Gelonian professional ice hockey player for Gwer Durnovaria HC of Liga Magna. He is primarily a center, but also plays on the wing, and occasionally defense on power plays.
Audaxa began his career playing for HC Termantia of the Gelonian SuperLiga, the local affiliate of Oren HC Durotrige. During the 2019–20 season, he was transferred to Gwer Durnovaria HC for LAS10 million. He made his first international appearance for the Gelonian national team in 2018, during an exhibition match against Sudmark. He made his World Championship debut in 2020, where he earned honors as All-Rookie Team.
Playing career
Minor
Audaxa played minor hockey for Uxama Argaela of the Roazhon Minor Hockey League, before joining the Oxonia Red Devils of the Oxonia Hockey Association. He led the Red Devils in scoring all 3 seasons he was a member of the team, setting the single season goal record of 80 goals in 2014–15. As a member of the Oxonia Red Devils, he won back-to-back-to-back national championships in 2013,  2014, and 2015.
HC Termantia
Due to his high level of minor-level performance, Audaxa gained the interest of a number of prominent Gelonian and Latin youth programs. Eventually, he joined Oren HC Durotrige, and was loaned to their Gelonian SuperLiga affiliate HC Termantia. Audaxa's first season with Termantia began with a rough start, failing to register a single goal in his first 15 games, and only earning his first assist after 7 games. Midway through the season, Audaxa was benched for 2 games for failing to attend practice and was rumored to have his loan terminated. However, an injury to teammate Celatus Tannia forced Audaxa back into the lineup. In his return game, Audaxa scored a natural hat-trick and earned a total of 7 points, which matched his season total up to that point. Audaxa was a regular fixture for Termantia from then on, and finished the season with 25 games played, 10 goals and 4 assists.
Audaxa was named alternate captain midway through his second season with Termantia, in January 2018. He earned multiple accolades in the 2017–18 season, including Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, and the scoring title. In 55 games played, he scored 51 goals and 55 assists. His 51 goal season was the first 50+ goal season in the SuperLiga since the 1969–70 season.
Oren HC Durotrige
Audaxa's loan was not renewed following the 2017–18 season, and he joined Oren Durotrige of the Latin Championship League for 2018–19. At 19 years old, he was the youngest play to earn a spot on Durotrige's roster and found himself centering the second line. Audaxa earned rookie of the year honors, despite Durotrige finishing second to last in the regular season. Durotrige avoided relegation in 2018–19 in large part of Audaxa's contributions during the relegation playoffs, in which Durotrige had its only four game winning streak of the season; Audaxa contributed 7 goals and 5 assists in the four game relegation series. Another rare highpoint for the season was Durotrige's advancement to the quarterfinal of the King's Cup, where the fell to eventual champion Gwer Durnovaria.
The following season, Durotrige again added more youth and Audaxa became first line center, on what was the youngest line in the Championship League. Audaxa was off to a record season, matching his season total from the previous year by the Christmas break. In his first 25 games played, he had 22 multi-point games. His record pace caught the attention of many teams around the world in the winter transfer window, most notably from LMH powerhouses such as Gwer Durnovaria, Alba Imperialis, and Utica Internationalis, as well as GHL side YYYY. In what would be his last game with Durotrige, Audaxa earned his 7th hat-trick of the season. Throughout his time with Durotrige during the 2019–20 season, Audaxa averaged 2 points per game.
HC Gwer Durnovaria
Audaxa was one of the most coveted players during the 2019 winter transfer window, earning interest from teams across multiple national leagues, including LMH, GHL, and UHA. On Christmas Day, Alba Imperialis made a LAS5 million offer for Audaxa. Hours later, the cash offer was matched by Utica Internationalis with the addition of player exchange and scheduling 2 friendly matches in upcoming seasons. On 27 December, Alba offered LAS7 million and home-home friendly matches.
