BRF 2 is an Besmenian public television channel owned by BRF. It was launched on May 10, 1960. In contrast to BRF 1, BRF 2 focuses on feature films and series.
History
BRF 2 began broadcasting as Versuchsprogramm on May 10, 1960. On January 22, 1961, the channel was renamed BRF ZWEI. Since 1993 the channel has been broadcast 24 hours a day. In 1996 the name was changed to BRF 2.
