This article refers to the Multiverse in which the game is set. For the RP group behind it, see Portal:Realms of the Multiverse. For the game itself, see Realms of the Multiverse (Game).
The Realms of the Multiverse, often shortened to the Realms refers to the Multiverse where the nations of Amenria and Ascion reside. It contains 28 Universes, with 8 Extrauniversal Territories of varying sizes.
Structure
At the border of the Multiverse lies the Barrier Between Multiverses. Within it are the 28 Universes encircling the 8 Extrauniversal Territories. At the centre of the Multiverse, four of the Extrauniversal Territories lie at each direction; with an unknown Territory on the north, another unknown Territory on the East, The Cube on the West, and Dread on the south. Forming a circle that connects the aforementioned Territories is The Subconscious. Within the circle formed by The Subconscious are three more Territories. In order from the outermost are the Seven Heavens and the Judgement Realms, the Primordial Sea, and an unknown space theorized by some to be Arasy, the abode of God. It is unknown where Hell lies, although some argue that Dread is Hell.
Universes
Realm 1/Prime Realm
Realm 1, often abbreviated to R1 and also known as the Prime Universe or Prime Realm is the universe where Amenria and Ascion are located. Although not physically located in the middle of the Multiverse, this Universe is the centre of the Multiverse, with other Universes being offshoots, variations, or derivatives of this one.
Realm 5/Realm of Warriors
Realm 5 is a wuxia-inspired universe set in a fantasy version of Imperial China. Wandering warriors walk this world, searching for jobs and worthy opponents alike, while occasionally catching the attention of spirits, gods, and monsters of various intentions.
Realm 7/Realm of Magic
Realm 7 is a universe set in medieval setting, inspired by middle-earth. This universe is the birthplace of its own kind of magic, the art of manipulating natural or supernatural forces which differs from the "magic" known in other universes. Humans, Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, and Dragons are the native inhabitants of this universe. However, centuries of war between a coalition of humans and elves against the Orcish Empire resulted in the excessive use of natural power. Which, consequently, made the dimensional barrier thin, rendering the universe unstable. Many of its inhabitants take refuge in Realm 1 until the refugee elves who made R1 a home, known as the Valkyrs, had most of their population wiped out by an escaped experimental subject, utilizing the thin barrier as a "bridge" to move between dimensions. Some of its inhabitants, especially humans and dragons, remained in this universe, trying to recover the barrier at a slow rate, as well as keeping the orcs from crossing to Realm 1.
Realm 9/Realm of Primates
Realm 9, also known as the Monkeverse, is a universe where God never created humans. Instead, He gave the gift of sentience to all the primates of earth, resulting in the status of the planet's dominant species being shared by them. The universe is named after the order of the monkey in the Chinese zodiac and is a parody of a related meme.
Realm 10/Red Realm
Realm 10 or R10, Red Realm, or Red Universe is a dieselpunk Universe where the world ideology is communism, with the Communist International acting as the Unvierse's equivalent of the United Nations. At the helm of the organization is the People's Republic of Amenriya. This Universe is protected by the Glorious Heroes of Communism, which is in turn led by President Angel. This Universe is named after the October Revolution.
Realm 44/Death Realm
Named after the association between the number 4 and death, Realm 44, often abbreviated to R44 and nicknamed the Horror Universe due to the similarities between this Universe's Superheroes with that of horror characters from fictional works of other Unvierses, is a Universe where God never separated the dimension of humans and animals with that of ghosts and angels. Suns in this Universe are notably smaller than in other Universes, resulting in darker days. This Universe is home to the Demon Kings, led by the Demon King "Diablo", who protect their Universe.
Realm 63/Genderbent Realm
A Universe where genders are reversed, Realm 63 or R63, the Genderbent Universe or Genderbent Realm, not only reverses the gender of it's people, but also reverses gender roles and history, with a world once full of feminist societies before gradually shifting towards gender equality. This Universe is the origin of the Superhero Empress Fenghuang and is named after Rule 63.
Extrauniversal Territories
The Cube
The Cube (Chinese: 立方体吧; pinyin: Lìfāngtǐbā, meaning "Cube Bar") is a bar lying on the western side of the centre of the Multiverse. It is always attended by two individuals; the Barkeeper, who serves food and drinks to the patrons of the establishment, and the Pianist, a female entity whose appearance changes to match the species, and where applicable, the race of the observer. According to the Barkeeper, the Cube "exists outside of space and time", suggesting that it was created at the same time as the Multiverse itself.
The establishment itself can be accessed through multiple entrances in various universes. Its menu includes every food and drink that has existed, exists, and will exist in the Multiverse. How the Barkeeper prepares the items, or procure the ingredients to do so are unknown.
