The Poppy Party (Blostlandic: Vallmopareti) is a left wing political party in Blostland subscribing to an ideology of social democracy and progressivism. Founded in 1850 by Jacob Hedström, VP is the largest leftist party in Blostland and is currently the leader of the governing coalition which has ruled since the 70s. From the 70s and till the modern day Vallmopareti has gotten more than 40% of the vote; establishing a strong foothold alongside their coalition with the liberal; Blostndare Centrum and the green; Grön.
