Germania is the name of a large planet within the Alpha Sector of the Englean Kaiserreich, serving as the Englean homeworld and the center of all Englean activities in colonised space. As well as being the capital of the empire, the planet serves as the capital of the Alpha Sector and the Germania Star System. The planet is similar to Sunalaya, being able to host living organisms while being situated in the "Goldilocks Zone" within the orbit around the star Cygnus.

The planet has 9 continents, with the largest being nearly twice the size of Ophion on Sunalaya. Like Earth, Germania primarily consists of water with a smaller amount of land. Unlike Sunalaya, countries do not exist on the planet but are replaced by multiple administrative sectors (Reichsverwaltungssektoren) that are administrated similarly to nations. Many cities exist on the planet, with the largest being Engelberg. The capital city presides on the coast of the largest continent, measuring the entire coastal portion of the landmass in size. The planet currently has a population of around 6 billion, and there are laws in place to prevent overpopulation in which certain groups of people are transferred to other planets within the empire if the population nears 7 billion.

Studies have determined that Germania is about 3 billion years old, and developed similarly to Sunalaya. However, the planet never developed human or similar life but did develop similar animal species. Weather patterns are also similar to Sunalaya, except in the nature of tropical cyclones. Cyclones are of smaller sizes and lesser intensity, but last longer and head in a west to east trajectory.

On the 13 of April, 2140, Germania was formally declared the homeworld of the Englean people and Empire. Over the next three decades the planet would be steadily domesticated and colonized, followed by the remaining 6 planets within the Germania System.
