History

Pre-history
Human habitation is believed to have commenced in Neuewland around 100,000 years ago, with the oldest-found human remains dated to 89,000 years ago. The earliest waves of humans in Neuewland were likely hunter-gatherers. The earliest forms of agriculture followed the domestication of yams around 7,000 years ago, with a believed Proto-Guurissi culture arising around the same time. Clay pots and a written proto-script created with blood have been recovered from this culture, earning it the name of the Bloodied Clay Culture.
