The State Director of Nainan (Nainese: 監督茹渃奈人; Giám đốc Nhà nước Nài Nhân) is the head of state of Nainan. It oversees the State Directory, the executive branch of Nainan, the office also oversees and appoints the Premier, and also oversees the Cabinet. The officer is a member of the Central Council.
It is the highest level of government in Nainan and is responsible for many duties pertaining to the government, such as overseeing the Premiership and Executive. The office also serves as the commander-in-chief of the People's Army of Solidarity and Longevity, the armed forces of Nainan. The office at first oversaw control of the entire government when it was created in 1956, but the official creation of the constitution in 1965 changed the position to being just head of state. Most State Directors of Nainan often served as both State Director and General Secretary of the Nainan People's Solidarity and Longevity, the sole legal party in Nainan.
